Neatorama Day

Since I spent most of the day cleaning and making an effort to start the year off right (aaaand watching the Mythbusters marathon) I'm just re-posting the good stuff from Neatorama. Sorry no pictures...super lazy today.

  • The first baby born on an international flight was Sasha, a 6 lb girl delivered by doctors on a flight from Amsterdam to Boston.
  • Moviemistakes.com does what all of us secretly want to do (without the stigma of being the shaky, over-intense dork who sits in front of a computer all day analyzing every scene from Gladiator): it finds the little flaws in movies and lists them! Some of them are kind of nitpicky (like when they pick apart an actor's break in character) but some of them are just fun.
  • Candy! I love candy so much. It's the best. Candylicious was always the ideal place to find some rare and unique treats, but this website offers an even bigger library for sweet-teeth.
  • Modernism and Modernity, anyone? Remember when we had that long class about which writers were lesbians?! Win!
  • Feeling lucky? It's all in your head.
  • hrmm...I think I know which side I will fight for.
  • I'm sad that nobody was naked when they did this.
  • MEH and I once found a scouting website for Maryland that was incredibly helpful when planning weekend (weekday) trips so this scouting blog for New York is amazing.
  • Dj Earworm (the link is to a previous post I did about him) made my worst nightmare...a mash-up of the music that assaulted my ears relentlessly in 2008.
