English-Russia finds of the day

I have no idea what's going on in the first photo set called "not-so-usual photos" because they are sets of different people reenacting the same photos (one involves a mummy being stabbed in the back and crawling across a street, another shows pickle jars full of cell phones?). There are 7 of these where this dude is caught with this woman and the husband tries to shoot him as he escapes. My question is, why do so many Russians have huge-ass guns?

Some prehistoric creature was found in an underground lake? Of course they had to kill it with tools because it tried to bite them, even though it looks pretty small.
