"Strom Thurmond, ears still ringing from the Big Bang"

It's the Daily Show's ten year anniversary! 10 years!!! I remember Jon Stewart's first show and I remember watching it with utter disgust. Would this short, hairy man be able to take the place of my tall drink of blond water, Craig Kilborn? I was skeptical. My dad was like "Relax, Jon Stewart is from MTV. He's a funny guy," but I wouldn't hear it. It didn't take long for him to win me over (it was the short jokes, it was always the short jokes) so in honor of his ten years I'm posting his first ever episode (from Comedy Central). But what's even better than his first episode is Crag Kilborn's last episode in which the 6 foot 5 Kilborn handed the 5 foot 6 Stewart a phonebook (get it? short joke!) and ended the show with a little dance to "California Dreaming." RIP blue couch.
