Will the Preakness leave Baltimore?
Not if smart investors take over. The company that owns the track is filing for bankruptcy and Pimilico, which is badly in need of some rejuvenation, may be going up for sale. While some see this as the end of racing in Baltimore, this writer thinks that if a buyer plays their cards right, and promotes the Preakness enough, this could be the start of a new era of Pimlico Racing.
